M.TECH (MECHANICAL)

Admission Qualification

The candidate seeking admission to the M.Tech in Mechanical must have passed B.E/B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical/Production/ Mechanical Sandwich /Industrial Engineering or Equivalent of any recognized board/Council.

Program Duration

The program duration for M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering will be two years comprising of four semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within four years from the session of enrolment.

Scheme of Examination

  • Internal assessment (IA) through assignments with a weightage of 25%.
  • Term-end examination having a weightage of 75%.
  • Each paper will be of 100 marks.
  • Minimum for pass is each course is 40% [In Internal Assessment + Term End Examination].
